Energy Management

Energy prices are growing in the long term, as the following graph shows, e.g. the average price of natural gas for middle consumers in comparison with 1995 has more than quadrupled.

The graph below describes savings, which were achieved during the introduction of appropriate energy saving measures in Brno, Nový Lískovec. We are helping to implement energy management in municipalities. This service is offered on the basis of individual needs of municipalities, with the aim of saving energy hence finances, but also securing greater energy security and self-sufficiency in future years, with the aid of a systematic approach during the management of assets, planned investments and operational costs.  

Energy management is a collection of measures, aimed towards effective management of the reduction of energy consumption.  It is a closed cyclical process of constant improvements in energy management which consists of the following:

• measuring energy consumption,
• determining potential energy savings,
• implementation of measures,
• evaluation of energy consumption and success of the implemented measures,
• a comparison of the extent of expected energy savings with those reached,
• an update of energy concepts, municipal energy plans and action plans of the city's energy plan.

 
                                           

The introduction of Energy Management is a systematic and investment undemanding series of steps. The aim is to gradually achieve significant energy savings and improve the organization of work.

One of the processes, which presents a defense against rising energy prices, respectively helps to stabilize energy costs, is a consistent and long-term energy planning. Strategic documents of a municipality in the field of communal energy can influence all buildings and facilities within the municipality (typically the land use plan, regional energy policy, integrated development plan) or just the buildings and equipment owned by the municipality (energy town plans, action plans for energy plans).
